Winning $150K Powerball ticket sold in Mass. on Saturday

A lottery player in Massachusetts won a $150,000 prize during the Powerball drawing on Saturday.
The winning numbers for the May 16 drawing were 8, 37, 40, 44, 65 and Powerball: 18, with a 3X PowerPlay.
The winning ticket was sold at the Sunny Farms convenience store in Mendon.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday just before 11 p.m. and tickets cost $2 each. The jackpot has an estimated $100 million for the next drawing.

Overall, at least 276 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Saturday, including 9 in Springfield, 2 in Worcester and 18 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes prizes worth more than $600.
The largest lottery prize claimed in Massachusetts so far this year was worth $25 million. It was from a “$25,000,000 Mega Money” ticket sold at a Cumberland Farms gas station in Turners Falls, the largest of Montague’s five villages.
