Wicklow Player Scoops €500,000 EuroMillions Prize

Garden of Ireland gambler strikes gold
The Garden of Ireland has a new lucky winner in its midst — a EuroMillions player in Co. Wicklow is waking up half a million euro richer after matching five numbers on the Plus draw last night.
The winning ticket, worth €500,000, was purchased somewhere in County Wicklow, making the county the latest addition to the National Lottery’s roll of big winners.
The winning Plus numbers were 12, 19, 28, 32 and 50.
The National Lottery confirmed the win on social media, posting:

Somewhere between the Sugarloaf and the south Wicklow coast, one lucky ticket holder has yet to discover they’re now €500,000 better off — assuming they haven’t checked their numbers yet.
No jackpot winner this time
Meanwhile, the big prize eluded everyone on this occasion, with no winner of the €17 million EuroMillions jackpot.
The winning numbers for the main draw were 3, 11, 17, 46 and 48, with Lucky Stars 1 and 2.

Ireland’s winning streak
It wasn’t just Wicklow celebrating — in total, over 36,000 players across Ireland picked up prizes in Tuesday’s EuroMillions and Plus games.
There was no winner of Tuesday evening’s jackpot, meaning the pot keeps growing. The estimated jackpot for Friday’s EuroMillions draw now stands at an estimated €30 million — so Wicklow’s newest near-millionaire-in-waiting might not be the county’s last winner this month.
