Powerball ticket worth $50,000 sold in Orleans County

Someone bought a third-prize-winning Powerball ticket at a convenience store in Orleans County, the New York Lottery announced Thursday.
The ticket, worth $50,000, was sold at Crosby’s on South Main Street in Medina for Wednesday’s drawing.
Two other third-prize tickets were sold in New York City.
The winners’ identities haven’t been announced.
The Powerball drawing is held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
