A Texas lottery winner is about to lose out on millions if they fail to claim their prize. Could it be you?
A Lotto Texas ticket that won the $78 million jackpot Nov. 15 is set to expire May 14, lottery officials warned in a news release Thursday.
The winner selected cash value when they bought the ticket, meaning they would take home $43,757,223 before taxes.
The ticket was purchased at Gordon’s Bait & Tackle at 7066 Padre Island Highway in Brownsville.

The winning numbers were 7-17-23-28-39-48.
If you are the lucky winner, here’s how to claim the ticket:

Call the Texas lottery at 800-375-6886 to make an appointment

Present the ticket in-person at Texas Lottery Headquarters at 1801 Congress Ave. in Austin

Claim the ticket by 5 p.m. May 14
The deadline may be extended for eligible military personnel.
If the ticket is left unclaimed, the prize money will go back to the state for programs authorized by the Texas Legislature.
