Postcode Lottery results: Full list of winning streets from July 18 to 24

Eight Greater Manchester postcodes landed a Postcode Lottery prize over the last week

Millions of pounds have been handed out over the past seven days with the Postcode Lottery. Among the winners this week was a married couple who both recently suffered life-threatening medical emergencies.

Postcode Lottery player Rebecca Andrews, 46, this week landed a third of a £1milllon prize, which came shortly after her and her husband David Docherty, 70, both cheated death in separate medical emergencies.

David has spent weeks fighting for his life after internal bleeding led to high-risk emergency surgery, while Rebecca collapsed alone at home after a hornet sting triggered a catastrophic allergic reaction.

Now the couple say the six-figure tax-free prize has finally given them hope again and they plan to splash out on treating their family and friends.

Rebecca, of Glentham, Lincolnshire, said: “It doesn’t feel real at all. It was a complete shock. It’s unbelievable. I feel like I’m in a weird dream.”

She added: “I lost my job in the NHS in January. David nearly died. Then I nearly died. It’s just been really, really stressful – one thing after another. It’s been that kind of year you don’t wish on anybody.”

David added: “You come through all the rubbish, and then sometimes something wonderful happens. This has given us hope again.”

Rebecca was one of three neighbours sharing a £1m prize when LN8 2EX landed Postcode Lottery’s weekly Millionaire Street prize on Saturday, July 18. Each ticket was worth £333,333.

Eight Greater Manchester postcodes scooped a £1,000 prize over the last seven days: WA6 8DE, WA14 3AG, WA5 3UD, M33 5GS, BL8 2PN, BL6 7BE, SK3 9EN, M20 4RD.

Postcode Lottery costs £12.50 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
