NC Education Lottery projects $1.14B in education funding for fiscal 2026

RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) – The North Carolina Education Lottery projects it will raise a record $1.14 billion for education during the 2026 fiscal year.

According to the lottery, that would mark the fourth year in a row it has raised more than $1 billion in education funds.

The lottery says it has awarded $2.4 billion to 62 counties across the state since it began in 2006.
