Monticello woman wins $1M from Florida Lottery scratch-off: ’I’m truly blessed’

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – A Monticello woman has won a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery’s 500X THE CASH?Scratch-Off game.

Brenda Larry received her winnings in a lump sum of $640,000.00 in January, according to the Florida Lottery.

The lottery says Larry purchased her winning ticket from Pit Stop, located at 1546 N. Jefferson Street in Monticello.

Larry said in a Florida Lottery press release that she is grateful for the big win.

“You have to play to win, and I don’t rely on luck. I move with purpose, and I’m truly blessed,” Larry said.
