$1M scratch-off sold in Windsor Mill tops Maryland Lottery’s biggest wins of the week

A scratch-off ticket sold in Windsor Mill delivered Maryland’s biggest Lottery prize of the past week, with a Baltimore resident claiming a $1 million top prize.

The winning Triple Red 777s ticket was purchased at the Wawa located at 2845 Rolling Road in Windsor Mill, according to the Maryland Lottery.

The $1 million prize led a week in which the Lottery paid nearly $30 million in prizes statewide from June 29 through July 5, including 22 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more.

The second-largest prize of the week was an unclaimed $182,263 FAST PLAY Home Run Riches Walk-Off Winnings progressive jackpot ticket sold July 2 at High’s, 19200 Middletown Road in Parkton.

Other notable wins included:

  • A Charles County resident won $110,000 after purchasing a THE BIG SPIN scratch-off ticket at Waldorf Liquors, 2276 Crain Highway in Waldorf.
  • A $77,777 Triple Red 7s Multiplier scratch-off ticket was sold at Sheetz, 429 Virginia Avenue in Cumberland.
  • A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at Veterans Liquors, 11620 Baltimore Avenue in Beltsville. The prize remained unclaimed as of July 6.

Several additional scratch-off prizes of $10,000 or more were also sold across Maryland, including:

  • $20,000 on a $1,000,000 Crossword ticket sold at High’s in Woodbine.
  • $10,000 on a Triple Red 777s ticket sold at T&T Liquors in Bowie.
  • $10,000 on a Red 5s Doubler ticket sold at Essex Fuel Mart in Essex.
  • $10,000 on a $5,000,000 CASH ticket sold at Shady Grove Beer & Wine in Gaithersburg.
  • $10,000 on a Money ticket sold at Dash In in Leonardtown.
  • $10,000 on a Diamonds & Gold ticket sold at Wawa in Mechanicsville.

Among draw game winners, five PICK 5 tickets worth $25,000 were sold in Baltimore, Finksburg, Rockville and Temple Hills.

As of July 6, the winning tickets sold at the Shell on Liberty Road in Baltimore and the 5-10 Quick Mart in Rockville had not yet been claimed.

Additional FAST PLAY winners included:

  • A $10,000 Ultimate Payday Progressive ticket sold July 3 at Seaside Restaurant in Glen Burnie.
  • A $10,000 Big Win ticket sold at Wawa in Perryville.

RACETRAX also produced several five-figure prizes during the week, including winning tickets worth $15,744 in College Park, $12,517.70 in Lexington Park and two $11,349 prizes sold in Baltimore and Laurel.
