A Maryland lottery player is heading into Memorial Day weekend a whole lot richer after a Powerball ticket sold in Baltimore County cashed in for a $50,000 prize.

The winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven on East Joppa Road in Nottingham for the Wednesday, May 20 drawing, according to Maryland Lottery officials.

Whoever bought the lucky ticket matched four white balls plus the Powerball to score the third-tier prize.

The winning numbers were 1028304657, with a Powerball of 25.

Lottery officials have not yet identified the winner, who now has 182 days to claim the prize.

Nottingham wasn’t the only lucky spot in Maryland on Wednesday night.

Lottery officials say 23 players across the state picked up $100 wins, while more than 8,200 others scored prizes ranging from $4 to $7.

If the winner is reading this and the ticket is currently stuffed in a junk drawer, cupholder, or pair of jeans headed for the wash, lottery officials have one request: sign the back of it immediately.

Prizes larger than $25,000 must be claimed through Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore by appointment or by mail.
