$50K Powerball ticket sold just outside Tri-State

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky (WFIE) – A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, on Monday.

Lottery officials say the ticket, which matched four white balls and the Powerball, was sold at Circle K, 932 North Main Street.

The winning numbers from the August 24 Powerball drawing were: 3 – 16 – 33 – 38 – 68 – Powerball 2.

The Kentucky Lottery advises winners of physical lottery tickets to sign the back and keep tickets in a secure location.

Lottery prizes can be claimed at Kentucky Lottery headquarters – 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville.

Officials say there was also a winning $50,000 Powerball ticket sold in Hopkinsville in March. It has still not been claimed.

They say that one was sold at the Circle K at 2175 Russellville Road.

Winners have 180 days to claim their prize.
