Herts dad pockets life-changing prize in EuroMillions lottery

The retired father-of-one, who is in his 60s, has pocketed £182,160.10 after matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star in the EuroMillions draw on April 10.
He said: “I was initially in disbelief when I found out I’d won. I honestly couldn’t get my head around it.
“I’m planning to do some renovations to my home, and it’s so great knowing that my future is financially secure, and I can take things as I find them now.”
The winner told how he only decided to take part because the jackpot had climbed above £60 million.
Dean O’Field, winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, added: “We are delighted for our sports-mad dad, and hope he enjoys making the home improvements of his dreams with his newfound fortune.”
National Lottery players can buy and check tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or visiting national-lottery.co.uk.

Each week, National Lottery players help generate around £33 million for good causes, with more than £53 billion raised since the lottery began.
This funds hundreds of projects in every postcode area across the UK, from supporting the arts and sport sectors to empowering local community groups and preserving iconic British landmarks.
