Deadline approaching for unclaimed £112k lottery ticket bought in Powys

The winning ticket is worth £112,091 and was bought at a National Lottery retailer in the county ahead of the draw on Friday, December 12, 2025.

But so far the prize has gone unclaimed – and the ticketholder has less than four weeks to make their claim.

The single ticket matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star in the draw.

The winning numbers were 7, 25, 30, 37, 41, with the bonus numbers being 5 and 11.

According to EuroMillions, prizes in UK must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date, so tickets purchased for this draw are valid until Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Lottery operator Allwyn previously issued an appeal to find the ticketholder back in the spring when they urged people to check their pockets – and their old tickets – in case they have won the prize.

They also said it was a possibility that someone had been visiting Powys when they bought the ticket and may no longer be local.

They have now repeated the plea ahead of the impending deadline.

Back in the spring, Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: “The hunt continues for our six-figure EuroMillions winner in Powys. Someone is sat on an incredible sum of money and doesn’t even realise.

“We are calling on people to check their tickets from the 12 December EuroMillions draw. Tell your friends, ask your family – check pockets of anything you may have worn that week – perhaps you were on the way to a Christmas party and the ticket is in a suit jacket or a handbag you’ve not worn since?

“Think back, were you in and around Powys in the week leading up to the 12 December draw?  It may not even be a local winner – it could have been someone passing through and visiting family or friends in the run up to Christmas.

“If this sounds familiar then please, think hard about where the ticket could be as we would love to unite the missing ticket holder with their winnings.”
