Winning Cash 5 ticket worth $100K sold in Newington on Sunday, remains unclaimed, CT Lottery says

The player won $100,000 in Sunday’s Cash 5 drawing. The winning ticket was sold at Newington Food Land located at 60 Walsh Ave. in Newington, according to Connecticut Lottery. The five numbers on the winning ticket are 14-15-19-33-35, and the player matched all five to win the top jackpot prize.
The odds of winning Cash 5 with five numbers and receiving the top prize amount of $100,000 is 1 in 324,632, according to Connecticut Lottery.
In the Nutmeg State, winning “draw game” tickets (Powerball, Mega Millions, Classic Lotto, Lucky for Life, Super Draw, Cash5 and Play3 and Play4) must be claimed within 180 days from the date of the drawing. Winning tickets that total $50,000 or larger must be claimed in person at Connecticut Lottery’s headquarters in Wallingford.
On Friday, a Mystic resident claimed a winning Cash 5 ticket worth $84,682, according to Connecticut Lottery. The winning ticket was sold at Mystic Mobil located at 34 East Main St.
Last month, the largest lottery prize claimed in December was a Powerball ticket worth $1 million. A Connecticut brother and sister purchased the winning ticket in Voluntown, according to a news release from Connecticut Lottery.
