Winning $5-million Lotto 6/49 ticket sold in Scarborough: OLG

Someone who bought a lottery ticket in Scarborough woke up a multimillionaire Thursday morning—they may just not know it yet.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has announced that the winning $5-million ticket for Wednesday night’s Lotto 6/49 draw was sold somewhere in the area.

The $1-million Gold Ball Jackpot was sold in Greater Sudbury and the second-prize winning ticket worth more than $250,000 was sold somewhere in Milton.

“Congratulations to the winners of these incredible prizes! With big wins continuing across the province, we look forward to celebrating Ontario’s newest multimillionaire,” the OLG Said in a news release.

The winning numbers for Wednesday night’s draw are 12, 30, 31, 35, 41, 48 and bonus 21.
