One lucky Western Washington lottery player just became a multi-millionaire, according to lottery officials.
The Lotto player matched all six white balls in the drawing on Saturday, Aug. 15, according to the Washington’s Lottery website.
The gambler scored the grand prize of $2.5 million, a Washington’s Lottery spokesperson said.

Where was the winning lotto ticket sold in Washington?
The winning Lotto ticket was sold at a Safeway grocery store at 2622 Southwest California Ave. in Seattle, state lottery officials said.
The retailer will get a $25,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket, according to the Washington’s Lottery spokesperson.
The Seattle supermarket is about a 35-minute drive from Tacoma.
What were winning Lotto numbers?
The winning numbers on Saturday’s Lotto drawing were 1, 10, 23, 27, 28 and 49, according to Washington’s Lottery.
How big is the Lotto jackpot?
As of Monday, Aug. 17, the current Lotto jackpot was at $1 million, with a cash option of $500,000.
When is the next Lotto drawing?
Lotto drawings are held at 8 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Ticket sales are cut off at 7:45 p.m. on those days, and resume at 7:46 p.m.
The next Lotto drawing is on Monday, Aug. 17, at 8 p.m.
How to play Lotto lottery game
Lotto tickets cost $1 for two plays.
You can select two sets of six numbers between one and 49, or have the Quick Pick system select them for you.
You can purchase a Lotto ticket for up to 25 consecutive drawings.
“Jackpots begin at $1 million and keep growing until someone matches all six numbers to win,” lottery officials said.
The odds of winning the Lotto jackpot are one in 6.99 million.
