Washington Lottery seeks winner of $2.5M Lotto ticket sold at Seattle Safeway

SEATTLE — Someone in Seattle is holding a Lotto ticket worth $2.5 million, and Washington’s Lottery is urging players to double-check their numbers.

Washington’s Lottery said the winning ticket was sold on Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Safeway located at 2622 California Ave. SW in Seattle.

The retailer will also receive a $25,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket, according to the lottery.

Washington’s Lottery encouraged people to check their tickets to see if they have the winning numbers.
