Jackpot Prize Winners

Two Winning Lottery Tickets Worth $666K Each Sold at Same Upper Darby Gas Station

A Delaware County gas station just made two people richer, or possibly one very lucky person twice as rich.

Three Cash 5 with Quick Cash jackpot-winning tickets from the Pennsylvania Lottery’s Monday, June 29, drawing will split a $2,000,001 prize, writes staff for the Daily Times.

Two of those tickets were sold at the same Upper Darby gas station.

Where the Winning Tickets Were Sold

According to the lottery, Exxon at 6898 Marshall Road in Upper Darby sold two of the three winning tickets.

The third was sold at First Stop Tobacco Shop at 204 East Bridge St. in Morrisville, Bucks County.

Each jackpot-winning ticket matched all five numbers drawn, 4-5-6-29-31. That earns an individual prize of $666,667 before applicable withholding.

One Winner or Two? Lottery Hasn’t Said

The lottery has not yet identified the winners, and it remains unclear whether the two Delaware County tickets belong to the same person.

Winners stay anonymous until they claim their prizes and the tickets are validated.

That means one player could be holding both winning tickets, or two separate customers happened to strike gold at the same Marshall Road Exxon on the same night.

Both retailers will collect $5,000 bonuses for selling the winning tickets.

How Cash 5 with Quick Cash Works

Cash 5 with Quick Cash players choose five numbers from 1 to 43 or opt for a computer-generated quick pick.

Matching all five numbers wins the jackpot, though smaller prizes go to players who match two, three or four numbers.

Each $2 play covers both the main Cash 5 evening drawing and one Quick Cash game.

Claiming the Prize

Jackpot prizes must be claimed within one year of the drawing date, while Quick Cash prizes must be claimed within one year of purchase, according to the lottery.

More than 36,900 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets also won prizes in the June 29 drawing.

The Daily Times has the full story on the winning tickets, including more on the odds and how prize claims work.
