Three streets share huge £1k win in Postcode Lottery – and £20.2 prize awaits in May

The latest windfalls have landed for neighbours in Blackwood, Rogiet and Brynmawr between 4 and 29 April 2026, after their postcodes came up in the lottery’s daily prize.
In Blackwood, residents of Tynycoed Crescent are among those in line for a four‑figure boost after postcode NP12 3LL was drawn for a £1,000 daily prize. Each ticket registered at that postcode will be worth £1,000, meaning households playing with more than one ticket receive a multiple of the pay-out.
It follows previous postcode lottery success in the town in recent years, with Blackwood neighbours having celebrated similar £1,000 wins before.
Further east, neighbours on Common Road, Rogiet, have also struck lucky after NP26 3SX was announced as a £1,000 winner in the same April period. The Monmouthshire village sits in the NP26 area near Caldicot, with Common Road running through the heart of Rogiet. Every player signed up with that postcode will receive the full £1,000 per ticket, adding up to a welcome cash injection on the street.
In Blaenau Gwent, the People’s Postcode Lottery has delivered another £1,000‑a‑ticket result for King Edward Road, Brynmawr, where postcode NP23 4SD has also been drawn for the daily prize. The terraced street, which forms part of the Ebbw Vale postal area, sits close to the town centre and heads out towards the Lakeside Retail Park. With multiple homes taking part, the overall value of the prize money heading into the community is likely to run into the many thousands of pounds.
All three Argus‑area postcodes are part of People’s Postcode Lottery’s regular weekday “Daily Prize” schedule, which awards £1,000 per ticket to dozens of postcodes around Britain every day. As the April winners celebrate, the lottery has confirmed that players can win a share of £20.2 million in May’s draws, provided they are signed up in time – offering the prospect of even more streets in Gwent and beyond joining the winners’ list next month.
