This Greenwich gas station just sold its latest million-dollar winner

GREENWICH — A Connecticut Lottery player has purchased a $3.4 million winning ticket at a gas station in Old Greenwich, officials said.

The jackpot-winning Lotto! ticket was sold at the Gulf station on East Putnam Avenue and matched all six numbers in last Friday’s drawing, according to the Connecticut Lottery Corp.

The sale marked the sixth time a winning lottery ticket has been sold at the retailer in the last two years, the lottery said.

The lottery noted the store sold a $25,000 scratch game winner a few weeks ago and sold a $1 million ticket in 2025.

“I was worried for a little while that I had gotten cold,” store owner Filomena Lamichhane said in a statement. “It’s good to be back being a lucky location for players. I’m looking forward to making another one!”

The jackpot comes about a month after another Lotto! player claimed a $6.8 million jackpot in the Feb. 3 drawing after buying a winning ticket at the Big Y World Class Market in Groton.

Officials said Friday’s $3.4 million jackpot winner has 180 calendar days from the drawing date to claim their prize.
