While there she shared how her lucky win happened.

“I play lottery games a lot, but I actually wasn’t planning on stopping to buy tickets that day. I went out with a friend for Cinco de Mayo, and after she suggested we stop to buy tickets, so we did.

“I bought a few tickets and won $30, so I used my winnings to buy two more. I scratched them in the store and ran out to my car crying when I saw I’d won $1 million. It was unreal! I’m still trying to process it.”

This lucky lady isn’t the only person to win big playing the Michigan Lottery.

A man visiting Michigan from Maryland recently won $1,000,000 playing a Lucky Numbers instant win ticket.

A Bay County woman who had been playing Lotto 47 for 20 years with the same numbers hit it big and won $1.1 million.

And an Oakland County woman playing Fantasy 5 online accidentally selected a wrong number that resulted in her winning $250,000.
