The lone major lottery draw winner Saturday got the ticket in Miami-Dade

The only winner among Saturday’s major money Florida Lottery draw games — Powerball, Florida Lotto, Fantasy 5 — played in Miami-Dade and didn’t have to pay for the ticket.

Nobody made the womp rat shot of hitting all the Powerball numbers, pushing that jackpot to $478 million for Monday’s drawing. Nobody hit the Florida Lotto or Fantasy 5 evening draw numbers, either.

But, someone who stopped by the Mobil station at 9497 NW Seventh Ave. in North Miami-Dade showed up with a Fantasy 5 ticket with 2 of 5 numbers, thus getting them a free Quick Pick ticket. That free ticket had the Fantasy 5 midday draw numbers of 3, 15, 17, 27 and 36. That turned out to be a $60,133 return on no investment.

This ticket must be cashed at one of the Florida Lottery district offices. The Miami district office actually sits in Miami Lakes, 14621 Oak Ln., and can be reached at MIARC@flalottery.com and 305-364-3080. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appointments can be made, but walk-ins are welcome.
