Euromillions winner in Wales faces losing unclaimed £112,000 prize within weeks

A Euromillions player in Powys has less than a month to claim their £112,091 prize before it is lost forever
Time is running out for a mystery Euromillions winner in Powys who has just one month remaining to claim a remarkable £112,091 prize.
The winning ticket was purchased in Powys for the Euromillions draw on December 12 last year and the holder has until June 10 to come forward.
The National Lottery is urging players to thoroughly check any tickets they may have stashed away, particularly from the hectic festive period last year. Read the biggest stories in Wales first by signing up to our daily newsletter here.
The ticket matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star to win and the winning numbers were 7, 25, 30, 37, and 41 and the Lucky Star numbers were 5 and 11.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: “With time running out, we’re asking anyone who was in Powys in the days leading up to the December 12 draw to stop and think – did you buy a Euromillions ticket?
“Whether you live locally, were visiting family, or just passing through please check any places you might have stored your pink ticket. We’ve seen major prizes claimed right up to the last minute but the clock is ticking for this winner.”
Should nobody come forward with the winning ticket before the claim deadline the prize money, along with all the interest it has accrued, will be directed towards National Lottery-funded projects throughout the UK.
Every week players help raise approximately £33m for National Lottery-funded projects.
As with all National Lottery draws players are given 180 days to come forward and claim their prize.
Anyone with any questions, or who believes they hold the winning ticket for any National Lottery draw within the 180-day deadline, can contact the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050.
