In total, over 83,000 players in Ireland won prizes in Saturday’s Lotto and Lotto Plus draws
Ireland has a brand new millionaire after one lucky Lotto player bagged a prize worth more than €1 million in Saturday night’s draw.
In total, over 83,000 players won prizes in last night’s Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, including one punter who bagged the special Lotto Plus Raffle top-up prize of €1 million.
The Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees between 60 and 120 winners of €500 in every draw but for Saturday’s draw (May 31), the National Lottery added a guaranteed to be won €1 million to the Lotto Plus Raffle prize fund.
Each of the tickets with the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number drawn in last night’s draw was entered into a once-off draw, where one ticket was selected to win an additional prize of €1 million, as well as the usual €500 Raffle prize.
Saturday night’s winning Raffle number was: 8275.
The National Lottery have confirmed that a lucky punter from Co Louth won the special Lotto Plus Raffle top-up prize of €1 million in Saturday’s draw after purchasing the all-important ticket at Malone’s Londis on Dublin Road in Ardee.
This isn’t the first time the shop is celebrating a huge Lotto win, after they sold a winning Quick Pick ticket worth a whopping €109,103 back in October 2024.
The latest Louth Lotto winner has 90 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize from Lotto chiefs before they turn the winnings over to promote the National Lottery which in turn will increase the funds raised for Good Causes.
The lucky Louth player isn’t the only player celebrating a huge cash windfall win as seven punters matched five numbers in Saturday’s main Lotto draw to bag €3,940.
The winning Lotto numbers were: 3, 15, 21, 24, 29 and 42, with bonus number 2.
As there was no winner of last night’s mega €2,395,387 Lotto jackpot, the top prize will now roll over for the next draw on Wednesday.
The Louth €1 million prize winner, along with the rest of the biggest winners from Saturday night’s draw, are urged to make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prizes in Lottery Headquarters.
Meanwhile an appeal has been issued to Irish EuroMillions players after a lucky Dublin punter bagged a huge five-figure prize in Friday’s draw.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw at Nolan’s Supermarket, Unit 5, 49 Vernon Avenue, Clontarf, Dublin 3.
Lotto bosses are urging players in Co. Dublin to carefully check their tickets, as incredible prizes from Friday night’s EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws are yet to be claimed.
