Sussex woman wins £10,000 a month for a year on National Lottery’s Set for Life
A homemaker from Sussex has won £10,000 every month for a year after matching five main numbers in the National Lottery’s Set for Life draw.
For the past 20 years, the winner from Brighton has faithfully played her cherished numbers on Lotto, Thunderball and EuroMillions.
On this occasion, she decided to buy a Set For Life ticket as a one-off and selected her numbers at random and, to her amazement, it was that very ticket that landed the win on Thursday, July 2.
She now plans to use her winnings to pay off her mortgage and fund her son’s final year at university.
She said, “It’s unbelievable. I’m so happy and really pleased I decided to give Set For Life a go.
“After 20 years of playing my usual numbers, to win on a one-off ticket with numbers I picked at random is just incredible.
“Paying off the mortgage and helping my son through his final year at university means the world to me.”
