Could it be you? £1m lottery ticket bought in Tyrone shop | We Are Tyrone

A £1m-winning lottery ticket has been sold in Co Tyrone – but the winner has still to come forward.

The ticket was for the EuroMillons draw on Friday, April 24.

The National Lottery has not said where in Tyrone the ticket was bought but have appealed to people to check any tickets they bought around this time.

For every EuroMillions line played, players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket.

The winning code for the winning ticket bought locally is MBGT03608 and the lucky ticket-holder has until October 21 2026 to claim their prize.

Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.

Life-changing

Andy Carter, Senior Winners Advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: “A lucky EuroMillions player is the winner of a life-changing £1,000,000 and doesn’t even know it.

“We are on a mission to unite our lucky winner with their million-pound prize and are asking players to check their tickets. \

“Were you in or around County Tyrone in the week leading up to the 24 April draw? Do you live or work in the area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting or were you just passing through?

“We want to find this mystery ticket-holder and pay out their life-changing prize.”

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
