An incredible jackpot of £444M could be won by one player as the National Lottery Powerball draw continues to roll over.

National Lottery operator Allwyn recently launched Powerball in the UK, giving players over here the opportunity to go up against their US counterparts to win an “unlimited” jackpot.

Priced at £4 per line, UK players can enter the Powerball for a chance to win the shared jackpot by matching five main numbers plus the Powerball, with the jackpot paid to UK winners over 30 years.

In a Powerball draw, which takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, players choose five main numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball number from 1 to 26, or can opt for a Lucky Dip.

Tickets can be purchased online on the National Lottery website or from participating stores across the UK, but tickets must be purchased by 11:55pm the night before a draw to be able to enter.

Andy Carter, Senior Winner’s Advisor at Allwyn said: “The UK is only weeks into its Powerball journey and already players have the chance to play for an estimated £444 million.

“Not only is this one of the biggest jackpots in Powerball history, but for those followers of numerology and special numbers the jackpot is an ‘angel number’ which has been associated with positivity, encouragement and good fortune. Players have 444 million reasons to dream ahead of Sunday’s draw.

“This kind of win isn’t just life-changing, it’s potentially generation-changing. It could help a winner support their family for decades, fulfil lifelong ambitions, champion causes they care about and leave a lasting mark on their community.
