Monday’s Powerball jackpot surpasses $900M

RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) – Powerball’s eighth largest jackpot in history is rising, with one lucky winner yet to claim the prize.

The North Carolina Education Lottery says the jackpot stands at $905 million.

Monday’s winner can either take it home as an annuity or $391.9 million in cash.

The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292 million.
