ROCKWOOD, Tenn. (WVLT) – While the big Powerball jackpot was not won Saturday night, the Tennessee Lottery said one lucky player in Roane County won $50,000 from the drawing.
Lottery officials said the ticket was purchased at Rocky Top Markets, located at 2560 Westel Road in Rockwood.
The ticket matched four of the five Powerball numbers plus the Powerball to get the $50,000 prize.
“The Lottery reminds players to have fun and play responsibly,” officials said. “It only takes one ticket to win.”
No further information will be released until the prizes are claimed.
The next Powerball drawing will be Monday at 10:59 p.m., where a $905 million jackpot will be at stake.
