No Connecticut Lottery players won any major cash prizes in Saturday’s Powerball drawing. The highest prize won by a Connecticut Lottery player was $300. Each Powerball ticket is $2 and 24,173 winning tickets were produced in Connecticut for Saturday’s drawing.
The winning Powerball numbers for Saturday’s drawing were 5-9-35-54-63 with a Powerball of 7. A Powerball player from Texas won a $2 million prize from the drawing. Players from Arizona, New York, Florida and Michigan each won a $1 million prize.
The Powerball jackpot was last won on May 2, when two players from Florida and Texas split a $20 million prize.
Powerball players have a 1 in 292,201,338 chance of winning the jackpot prize, according to Connecticut Lottery.
Although no Connecticut Lottery players won major cash prizes in Saturday’s Powerball drawing, two Connecticut residents did claim major Powerball prizes recently. A Wallingford resident claimed a $150,000 prize and a Windsor resident claimed $100,000 from winning Powerball tickets on Friday.
Powerball drawings occur every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. and are broadcast live on Powerball’s “Watch the Drawing” page.
