Last chance to claim 7yo $775k lotto win
One lucky winner has only days left to claim a $775,000 lottery prize, while an ongoing hunt for the winner of a $40m prize in Canberra continues.
Lottery officials are urging customers to check their lottery tickets, as the deadline for a Saturday Gold Lotto prize worth $774,826.59 is about to expire.
The mystery player purchased the ticket from Gatton Plaza Newsagency in the Queensland Lockyer Valley Region on July 6, 2019 and only has four days left to claim the prize.
In Queensland, customers have seven years to claim their winnings after the draw date before they cannot be paid out.
The winning numbers in the Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3961 on July 6, 2019 were 30, 23, 15, 44, 18 and 41, while the supplementary numbers were 1 and 5.
The search has also begun for another lottery winner in the ACT who is yet to come forward and claim a $40m prize.
A Powerball winner is eligible to claim the entire portion of a $40m prize pool after their ticket was purchased from Thistle Kiosk in Woden.
The ticket was purchased on Thursday, June 25 and would mark the third biggest lottery prize ever in the ACT.
Thistle Kiosk owner Rudy Lu said his team was buzzing with excitement at the thought of witnessing the lucky person claim their winnings.
“Everyone has been checking their tickets to see if they’re the mystery winner,” he said.
“We hope our latest big winner checks their ticket soon so they can start enjoying their prize.”
This prize would also mark the eighth division one win sold by Thistle Kiosk, including a $35m win in 2016 and a $10m win in 2013.
The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1571 on Thursday, June 25, 2026 were 7, 29, 25, 18, 26, 23 and 17. The all-important Powerball number was 16.
