Greenville woman wins first $1 million top prize in new lottery game

RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) – A woman from Pitt County has won the top prize in a new lottery game that came out this month.

The North Carolina Education Lottery says Jeanette King from Grenville has won the $1 million prize from the new Jackpot Millions game.

According to the lottery, the game just debuted this month and she bought her winning ticket from the Harris Teeter on Evans Street.

King took home $432,066 after required taxes.

Two more $1 million prizes remain.
