After 11 straight rollovers, Lotto Powerball was finally struck with a single ticket sold at Four Square Netherby in Ashburton.
Meanwhile, 13 other players also have something to celebrate today, winning $25,851 with Lotto Second Division.
The numbers were: 40, 14, 37, 22, 20 and 3. The bonus ball was 12.
Six of the winning tickets were sold through My Lotto to two players from Auckland, one in Hamilton, one in New Plymouth, one in Manawatū-Whanganui, and one in Christchurch.
The rest were sold in physical stores: Marston Moor Kaitāia, Four Square Snells Beach, Springfield Superette and Lotto Rotorua, Woolworths The Valley New Plymouth, New World New Plymouth, The Blagdon Store New Plymouth and Halo Lotto and Convenience Lower Hutt.
The Powerball of $18m will roll over to $20m on Wednesday.

What to do if you win
Ticket holders can see immediately if they have won if they purchased a ticket through My Lotto. Prizes of $1000 or less are automatically credited to the account.
For prizes exceeding $1000, winners must complete an online prize claim form.
Winners with physical tickets must still visit a Lotto retailer to claim their prize.
