Arizona lottery players win big with $1 million ticket sold in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Several Arizona lottery players are cashing in after winning prizes in recent Powerball and Mega Millions drawings.

According to the Arizona Lottery, winning tickets were sold at Circle K stores in Maricopa, Cochise and Pinal counties during Tuesday and Wednesday’s drawings.

The biggest win was a $1 million Powerball ticket sold at Circle K near Dynamite Boulevard and Alma School Parkway in Scottsdale.

Another Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at another gas station near Buffalo Soldier Trail and 7th Street in Sierra Vista.

A Mega Millions ticket worth $20,000 was sold at Circle K near John Wayne Parkway and Bowlin Road in Maricopa for the Tuesday drawing.

According to the Powerball website, nearly 90 players across the country won prizes of more than $1 million in the latest drawing. The site also showed jackpot-winning tickets were sold in Indiana and Kansas.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Saturday, with an estimated jackpot of $20 million.
