A gut feeling just turned into a $303,000 jackpot for this Ottawa County resident

An Ottawa County woman recently won big playing the Michigan Lottery and is now going to celebrate by taking a trip to Disney World.

The 57-year-old woman who chose to remain anonymous won $303,154 playing Club Keno The Jack.

The Jack is a Club Keno add-on game that players may add to their Club Keno wager for $1 per draw.

With The Jack, players get nine easy pick numbers to match to the Club Keno numbers drawn.

Players can win prizes ranging from $1 to the jackpot which starts at $10,000 and grows until it is won.

To win the jackpot, players must match all nine numbers.

The woman was able to match her easy pick The Jack numbers – 28-33-42-44-46-52-56-57-77 – to nine of the 20 Club Keno numbers drawn.

She recently drove to Michigan Lottery Headquarters in Lansing to cash in her winning ticket.

While there she shared with the Michigan Lottery how a feeling led to her big payday.

“I play Club Keno a lot, but I hardly ever play The Jack. When I was filling out the play slip, I just had a feeling that I should add The Jack to my ticket this time.”

“Later that night, I stopped by the store to buy a scratch off ticket and scanned my Club Keno ticket while I was there since I didn’t watch the drawings. When I realized how much I’d won, I started shaking and called my daughter right away. It was unbelievable and definitely took a couple of days to sink in!”

This lucky woman from Ottawa County isn’t the only person to win big playing the Michigan Lottery.

A man visiting Michigan from Maryland recently won $1,000,000 playing a Lucky Numbers instant win ticket.

A Bay County woman who had been playing Lotto 47 for 20 years with the same numbers hit it big and won $1.1 million.

And an Oakland County woman playing Fantasy 5 online accidentally selected a wrong number that resulted in her winning $250,000.
