The shop where a €500,000 EuroMillions ticket was sold has been revealed.
Lotto bosses confirmed the ticket was purchased at the Applegreen service station at Junction 14, Coyne’s Cross, on the M11 in Co Wicklow.
Officials said the punter purchased a Quick Pick ticket on Saturday, August 8.
The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers in Tuesday’s draw were: 12, 19, 28, 32 and 50.
National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said: “Someone travelling through Co Wicklow over the weekend may be carrying a winning EuroMillions Plus ticket worth €500,000 after the Quick Pick was purchased at Applegreen, M11 Junction 14, Coyne’s Cross.
“We are encouraging players who may have been travelling on the M11 over the weekend to check their tickets carefully. The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back of it and keep it somewhere safe.
“They can contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize at National Lottery headquarters.
“And that’s not all! In total more than 36,000 players across Ireland won prizes in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws, but one ticket sold in Wicklow now holds a prize worth €500,000!”
It comes as tonight’s Lotto jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €3.5 million.
