Michigan Lottery Player Wins $100,000 a Year for Life Playing Millionaire For Life™; Winning Ticket Bought Online

The lucky player matched the five white balls – 01-16-26-40-44 – in last night’s drawing to win the big prize. The winning ticket was bought online at MichiganLottery.com.
The lucky winner will have two choices to collect the big prize:
- Annual $100,000 payments for a minimum of 20 years of life, whichever is greater, or
- A one-time lump sum payment of $2.2 million.
The big win marks the second time in the history of the Millionaire For Life™ game that a Michigan player has won a lifetime of cash. On May 21, a Charlevoix County woman won $100,000 for life playing the game with a ticket bought at the Mancelona North EZ Mart, located at 8150 US Highway 131 Northeast in Mancelona. Mancelona is about 35 miles northeast of Traverse City.
The winner should contact the Michigan Lottery Player Relations Division at 844-917-6325 to schedule an appointment to collect the big prize. The prize must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing. Millionaire For Life tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date.
For just $5 per play, Millionaire For Life gives players the chance to win prizes ranging from $8 up to a lifetime of cash. To win the game’s top prize of $1 million a year for life, players must match all five white ball numbers ranging from 1 to 58 and the Millionaire Ball number ranging from 1 to 5. Players who match all five white ball numbers, but not the Millionaire Ball, will win $100,000 a year for life. Drawings take place daily at 11:15 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at Lottery retailers across the state and online at MichiganLottery.com.
