The National Lottery has confirmed that the lucky EuroMillions ticket worth more than €20,000 was sold in Westmeath just a couple of days ago.
The winning player scooped the €20,045 prize in Friday night’s EuroMillions draw, with the ticket sold the previous day from Circle K, N4 East, Clongowney Dublin Road, Mullingar, Co Westmeath.
The winning numbers in the EuroMillions draw on Friday, 31 July, were 10, 24, 25, 31, 45 and the Lucky Stars were 4 and 5.
National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan said: “What a fantastic weekend surprise for a EuroMillions player in Co. Westmeath who is now set to collect €20,045 after matching five numbers in Friday night’s draw.
“We are encouraging all of our players who purchased a Quick Pick ticket at Circle K on the N4 East, Clongowney, Dublin Road in Mullingar on Thursday, 30th July to check their tickets carefully today.
“The winning ticketholder should sign the back of their ticket and contact our Prize Claims team so that arrangements can be made for them to collect their prize!”
The lucky ticketholder from Westmeath is urged to sign the back of their ticket and make contact with the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email them via claims@lottery.ie. Lotto bosses will then make arrangements for them to collect their prize at their headquarters.
This comes as tonight’s Lotto jackpot, August 1, is set to roll towards an estimated €2.2 million, with entries to be cut off from 7.45pm this evening.
