WEST CORK Lotto players have been urged to check their tickets as they could have a winning ticket.

A player in Cork successfully matched five numbers and the bonus in the main Lotto draw to take home €34,710.

Their winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw, from Bandon Books Plus, in the Riverview Shopping Centre in Bandon, Co. Cork.

The number in last night’s (10th June) Lotto draw were: 2, 11, 14, 22, 42, 47 and the Bonus was 29.

Meanwhile, an online player in Co. Dublin scooped €40,000 in the Lotto 54321, 7 Number Game.

National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, said: ‘It was a brilliant midweek result for Lotto players in Cork and Dublin, with two fantastic prizes won in Wednesday night’s draws. We’re urging players in Cork to check their tickets carefully today, as one ticket is now worth €34,710.’

The Cork ticketholder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected].

Arrangements will then be made for them to collect their prize at Lottery Headquarters.

As there was no winner of the €3,365,989 jackpot on offer, Saturday’s Lotto jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €3.8 million.
