Winning $800 million Mega Millions ticket sold in Bradenton: Lottery website
A single Mega Millions jackpot-winning ticket sold in Florida matched all six numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing, according to lottery officials.
The ticket is worth an estimated $800 million jackpot, or $344.2 million if the winner chooses the cash option.
The Florida Lottery’s website said the winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at the Wawa located at 14510 State Road 70 E. in Bradenton.

The July 28 drawing led to the third Mega Millions Jackpot win of 2026 and the tenth-largest jackpot in the game’s history, according to lottery officials.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were 34, 48, 49, 59, 70 and Mega Ball 12.
Officials said the jackpot for the next drawing on July 31 resets to its starting value of $50 million, or $21.5 million cash.
People who frequent the Wawa on a regular basis said they were shocked to find out that much money was won at their local store.
“I think that’s pretty amazing, you never know where or when anything is going to happen, so you never know maybe you take a chance sometimes and play the lotto,” said a woman named Shania.
“I usually go to the Publix and get my ticket, I don’t know, I should have come over here apparently,” said Laura Brown
“I wish it was me, I played, but I guess it wasn’t me, but God bless them brother,” said Clayton Cole.
Wawa customers also had no problem dreaming of how they would spend the money.
“I would retire, first thing I would do is retire, and then I would give God his half and then I’d go splurge,” said Cole.
“I would take care of my family first, and my daughter and school, I would do all the right responsible things first, and then I would have a little bit of fun,” said a woman named Kathleen.
Many of these customers also said they believe in lightning striking the same spot twice.
“I come to the Wawa all the time, and never tried to play, I should play now, it gives me motivation to play,” said Nirali Patel.
