An Irish punter has scooped a life-changing amount of money on tonight’s EuroMillions draw.

There were no winners of the more than €38million jackpot, but one Irish player scooped €110,335 after they matched five numbers.

The winning numbers were 8, 34, 39, 41, 42 and the Lucky Stars were 2 and 7.

In addition, a further 16 Irish players won €185 after they matched four numbers and a lucky star.

Lotto bosses said: “In total, over 44,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games.”
