Wichita resident wins record-breaking lottery jackpot with ticket from QuikTrip – AOL

Someone in Wichita recently won a record-breaking jackpot prize from the Kansas Lottery.
The winner, who chose to stay anonymous, had bought a Multiplier Mania ticket from the QuikTrip at 2801 N. Rock Road in Derby.
With that ticket, the Wichita resident won $193,420 — a new state record, according to a July 1 news release from the Kansas Lottery.
Multiplier Mania is a Fast Play game, meaning players can instantly see if they are a winner. The game costs $20 to play and has a progressive jackpot.
The new jackpot is valued at $24,236 as of July 13.
The odds of winning a cash prize while playing Multiplier Mania are 1 in 2.93. The prizes start at $20.
