Wednesday’s lottery winners bought at a Publix, a gas station, a liquor store

On a Wednesday of Powerball, Florida Lotto and Fantasy 5 games, the jackpot luck was spread among the three most common places people play the Florida Lottery — Publix, a gas station and a liquor store — and geographically from South Florida to Central Florida to the Panhandle.
Alas, that jackpot luck did not extend to the Powerball big haul. The next chance at that estimated $856 million prize will be Saturday.
As for the rest, the Florida Lottery numbers — 4, 19, 21, 22, 30, 45 — matched a free Quick Pick ticket from the machine at a Lakeland Sunoco, 5565 New Tampa Hwy. That free ticket, obtained by getting by hitting two of six numbers on a previous drawing, is now worth $6 million.
The midday Fantasy 5 drawing came up 3, 6, 24, 27 and 34, making a $55,934 winner of a Quick Pick ticket bought at Neighborhood Liquor, 825 Federal Hwy., in Palm Beach County’s Lake Park.
Wednesday night, the Fantasy 5 jackpot went to the holder of a Quick Pick ticket from the Inlet Beach Publix at 11291 U.S. 98 East. That’s a $116,357 winner.
These tickets must be cashed at one of the nine Florida Lottery district offices around the state or the main office in Tallahassee. What’s called the West Palm Beach office is in Palm Springs, 4360 Forest Hill Blvd., and can be reached at 561-640-6190 and WPBRC@flalottery.com. Appointments can be made, but aren’t required. The office, like most, is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
