Two Lancashire postcodes awarded prizes in Postcode Lottery daily draw

The winning tickets were in Preston and Quernmore, near Lancaster, and those with a ticket in either the PR2 2RH or LA2 9EB postcode were awarded the prize.

Residents living on Tulketh Crescent in Preston and Laingthwaite Road in Quernmore were those in the lucky areas during the draw on Sunday, May 25.

Subscriptions to the Postcode Lottery support a range of charities across the UK, with a minimum of 33 per cent of ticket prices going to good causes.

Every day, there are £1,000 prizes to be won for every ticket in 20 postcodes.

The Postcode Lottery also manages lotteries for 20 charities.The lottery is hugely popular nationally and supports “a wide range of charities and good causes across Britain and around the world.”

To date, they’ve provided more than £1.1 billion in funding, which is helping thousands of organisations and projects.
