There are some Minnesotans that are missing out on tens of thousands of dollars. Are you one of those Minnesotans? The Minnesota Lottery has several large prizes that have gone unclaimed, including some of the January 1st Minnesota Millionaire raffle prizes.
Large Prizes From Minnesota Lottery Still Unclaimed
There are a few large prizes from the Minnesota Lottery that are still waiting to be claimed, including two large prizes from the Minnesota Millionaire raffle that takes place on January 1st. Here’s how much money is waiting to be claimed.
In the Minnesota Millionaires raffle, there are two $50,000 prizes that have yet to be claimed. The winning raffle tickets were sold at two Twin Cities convenience stores. One ticket was sold at the Kwik Trip on Bunker Lake Boulevard in Andover, and the other was sold at a Holiday on Nicollet Court in Burnsville.
Other Large Prizes Waiting To Be Claimed
Two Powerball winners that are also worth $50,000 are waiting to be claimed. The tickets were sold in Greater Minnesota. One of the winning ticket was sold December 13th 2025 in Shafer Minnesota. The second winning ticket was sold more recently, on April 4th at a Cenex station in Slayton.

The unclaimed prizes can be claimed for up to a year. In Minnesota, unclaimed lottery prize money is transferred to the state’s General Fund at the end of each fiscal year. Powerball or Mega Millions prizes that go unclaimed are different, according to the Minnesota State Lottery those prizes aren’t kept entirely by Minnesota; they are returned to all participating states based on their percentage of ticket sales.
