Single Florida ticket scores Mega Millions’ $800M jackpot. Here’s where it was sold
ORLANDO, Fla. – A single ticket sold in Florida just changed someone’s life — to the tune of $800 million.
The Mega Millions ticket matched all six numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing, claiming the estimated $800 million prize, or $344.2 million as a lump-sum cash payout. The winning numbers were 34, 48, 49, 59 and 70, with a Mega Ball of 12.
Lottery officials said the winning ticket was bought at the Wawa on 14510 State Road 70 E in Bradenton. The winner has not been identified.
The win is the 10th largest in Mega Millions history, and just the third jackpot won in 2026. Florida isn’t new to this — the state holds the game’s all-time record jackpot of $1.602 billion, won Aug. 8, 2023. That ticket was sold in Neptune Beach.
Tuesday’s win is the sixth time Florida has won or shared a Mega Millions jackpot since joining the game in 2013.
Two other tickets also had a big night. A ticket sold in Illinois matched all five white balls and won $5 million. A New York ticket did the same and took home $3 million.
If you missed out on Mega Millions, Powerball offers another shot at life-changing money. No ticket matched all six numbers Monday night, pushing the Powerball jackpot to an estimated $663 million.
That drawing is Wednesday night.
