Psychic suggests these lotto numbers could help you win £1,000,000,000 jackpot

With the news that a £1,000,000,000 jackpot is coming to the UK, players will be looking for any advantage they can get.

The opening draw for the National Lottery’s Powerball will take place on Thursday UK time.

For £4 per line, Brits will be able to compete against US players to win shared jackpots that can balloon into ten figures – with the winnings paid out over 30 years.

Those playing this week will need to get their numbers in by 11.55pm tomorrow night, and could bag a jackpot of £300 million.

So how do you go about selecting your numbers?

There’s no guaranteed way, of course, but psychic Inbaal Honigman reckons she can help people narrow down their picks using the stars.

Naturally, it all depends on your astrological sign. Here are her thoughts:

Aries and Sagittarius

‘Number 1 suits confident Aries, the first sign of the Zodiac and a big fan of new beginnings.

Pisces and Gemini

‘Number 22 is great for optimistic Leo, who really believes that dreams can come true.

Scorpio and Aquarius

‘Number 18 is a standout number for enigmatic Scorpio, who successfully goes on vibes not facts.

‘It is also fantastic for esoteric Aquarius, as they appreciate global traditions.’

Libra and Virgo

‘Number 26 resonates with the Libra star sign, the balancer, who will meet with triumph and disaster, and treat those two imposters just the same.

Cancer and Taurus

No word from Inbaal on which numbers will actually win, sadly.

Miloš Marković, the editorial director of Live Casinos, also suggests creating a ‘balanced selection’ when considering your numbers, as well as thinking about joining a lottery pool with friends, family or colleagues.

He added: ‘Most importantly, lottery tickets should always be viewed as entertainment rather than a guaranteed way to make money. Set a budget, play responsibly, and only spend what you are comfortable with.’
