Powerball ticket sold in Ohio wins $200K after near jackpot match
While no one won the July 8 Powerball jackpot, one person who played in Ohio came close.
A Powerball ticket sold at Speedway #1404 in Delaware matched four of the five white balls, the Powerball and the Power Play in the July 8 drawing to win a $200,000 prize, according to a Facebook post from Ohio Lottery.
Lottery officials said the winning ticket was a manual pick, meaning the player selected their own numbers rather than using a Quick Pick.
No ticket matched all five white balls and the Powerball to win the jackpot, which means the grand prize has climbed to an estimated $457 million, with a cash value of $205 million, for the next drawing on July 11.
The winning numbers for the July 8 drawing were 12, 29, 37, 43 and 55, with Powerball 18. The Power Play was 4x.
