The one million euro Euromillions ticket was sold in Killarney.

The lucky player won Friday night’s EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle prize.

The lucky winner won a prize of €1,005,000, with the Quick Pick ticket which was purchased on Friday, ahead of the draw that night.

The winning raffle number: I-VBD-36131.

The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning ticket was sold in Centra The Reeks at the Reeks Gateway, in Killarney.

Store owner, John Bowler says the win has created a great buzz around the store.

He says they’ve a mix of local customers and visitors coming through their doors every day, so the winner could be anyone.

Mr Bowler says it’s wonderful news for Killarney and the wider Kerry community.

National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan is urging anyone that bought a Euromillions ticket in Centra The Reeks last Friday to check it carefully.

She says if you have the winning ticket, sign the back of it, keep it somewhere safe and contact their Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] to make arrangements to collect the prize.
