Hundreds of thousands of pounds has been handed out over the past week in the Postcode Lottery draws. Among this week’s winners was a couple from Southampton who couldn’t wait to start planning their future holidays.
Clare Wilding won £250,000 on the Postcode Lottery this week when SO31 4HP landed the jackpot Millionaire Street prize – where every ticket was worth £250,000.
After winning, Clare, 47, revealed her family love foreign trips and have just returned from the Caribbean. Now the school business manager and husband Dave are going into overdrive after seeing her whopping cheque.

Clare, of Hamble, Southampton, said: “We’ll have some good holidays. We can plan our holidays for the next two or three years. The Middle East in October, Thailand next summer and Malta or Dubai the following year and we’ll just keep on going.
“The Middle East is our happy place. We could maybe go to one of the hotels on Jumeirah Beach in Dubai now.”

Dave, 50, said: “We like our holidays. We’ve been to Dubai probably about four or five times and the Caribbean. We’d like to go back to Dubai, and we’ve also wanted to go to Thailand.”
Clare added: “We could maybe upgrade our flights and hotels. It’ll be nice to help family and friends, and just genuinely enjoy ourselves.”
Clare was one of two neighbours who pocketed windfalls after the lottery’s monthly £250,000 prize landed in SO31 4HP in the quaint Hampshire village of Hamble. Every ticket was worth £250,000, but the other player doubled their pot with two tickets.
Postcode Lottery costs £12.50 a month to play and there are guaranteed winners every day. People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
