Phoenix lottery player wins $6.7 million jackpot – KTAR.com

PHOENIX — One lucky Arizona Lottery player can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with their very own pot of gold after winning a jackpot worth $6.7 million.

A ticket sold at an Albertsons near 19th and Northern avenues in Phoenix hit the jackpot in Saturday night’s The Pick drawing, matching the winning numbers: 1, 13, 15, 19, 22 and 34.

The Pick is an Arizona Lottery drawing held Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays that costs $1 per entry to play. Tickets for the game are available at over 3,000 Arizona Lottery retail locations.

The estimated jackpot reset to $1 million after the big win over the weekend.

As with all Arizona Lottery games, the winner has 180 days to claim the prize.

This wasn’t the only big lottery win last weekend

Another Valley resident also won big this weekend, although their prize wasn’t in the millions.

A $20,000 Mega Millions ticket was sold at a QuikTrip in Mesa near Ray and Ellsworth roads.

It matched four of the five white numbers drawn Friday — 6, 19, 36, 40 and 55 — plus the gold Mega Ball 9.

The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Tuesday, with an estimated jackpot of $60 million.
